CHEMP Team members attend ICAMPAM in Rennes, France!
Dr. Joyce Obeid and doctoral student Elyse Letts travelled to France where Elyse gave two presentations from her current research.
The 9th ICAMPAM (International Conference on Ambulatory Monitoring of Physical Activity and Movement) conference was held at the Rennes University campus in Rennes, Brittany, France, from June 18-21, 2024. ICAMPAM is the premier forum for ISMPB, the International Society for the Measurement of Physical Behavior.
Elyse presented her findings on ‘Machine learning models to detect physical activity and sedentary time from hip-worn accelerometers in toddlers‘ – which won best oral talk runner up – as well as on ‘Testing the consensus method for sedentary time from hip-worn accelerometer.’
Looks like the team took some time to sample the delicious local cuisine as well – bon appetite!!
