CHEMP grad student experiences research as a patient partner.

Samantha Morin, a CHEMP PhD student investigating the impact of physical activity on children and adolescents living with IBD, served as a patient partner in the preparation of the '2023 Impact of Inflammatory Bowel Disease in Canada' report, issued by Crohn's and Colitis Canada.

Featured in the report section titled ‘Special Populations – Children & Adolescents with IBD’, Sam said ‘it is amazing to be a part of this report as a patient partner and share my perspective as someone directly impacted by IBD. Our lived experience s are just as important as the science.’
